First Music Event of the 2011 Americana series

Saturday, January 22, between 35-40 people attended a coffee house here at the Mid Town Family Resource Center to see Tommy Womack perform two sets of original music in his unique and entertaining style. Accompanied by Dan Seymour on acoustic bass, Tommy put on a great show for the audience. The sound and setting received accolades (thanks to the work of Missy Storey for the setting, and Steve Peck for the sound). Several people were new to the agency and the coffee house setting, so this helps get the word out about what we do; and how we tie enjoying live local music with fund raising and community awareness. Tommy is a touring musician based in Nashville.
